I offer different and creative ways of connecting with your inner self depending on your needs. My work draws on evidence-based modalities including EMDR, IFS, DBT, CBT, ACT, TF-CBT, SFBT, and narrative therapy — informed by training in neuroscience, attachment, identity and somatic work, trauma-focused therapy, and interpersonal therapy.
One-on-one therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, and identity exploration. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT skills, solution-focused, and narrative therapy, we collaborate through a healthy therapeutic alliance to build coping strategies that bring real relief from your symptoms of concern.
Support for partners who want to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen connection. Drawing on attachment and interpersonal approaches, we explore the patterns between you and build healthier ways of relating — so you can show up for each other with more understanding and less conflict.
Compassionate, paced treatment for PTSD, childhood trauma, and attachment wounds using EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). EMDR helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they lose their emotional grip — deep healing without needing to talk through every detail.
Trauma and stress live in the body, not just the mind. Somatic work uses body awareness, grounding, and nervous-system regulation — informed by neuroscience — while attachment-focused work explores how early relationships shape the way you love, trust, and connect today.
Specialized training in PTSD and suicide risk management in veterans, with professional experience leading veteran suicide prevention programming. I offer a grounded, respectful space for veterans, service members, and military families navigating trauma, transition, and moral injury.
Clinically trained in LGBTQ+ issues and treatment strategies, I provide an affirming, judgment-free space to explore identity, relationships, family dynamics, and the stress of navigating a world that isn't always accepting. You are welcome here exactly as you are.
As an African immigrant and Ubuntu practitioner, I provide care that honors your culture, identity, and lived experience. "I am because you are" — therapy here recognizes that we heal within community, not apart from it. Immigrants, people of color, and cross-cultural families are especially welcome.
All sessions are offered by secure video, so you can access care from wherever you feel most comfortable. Begin with a free 15-minute video consultation to ask questions, get to know one another, and share what you're hoping to work towards before beginning full sessions.
Welcome — I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and whatever brought you to this page, I want you to know there is nothing wrong with asking for help.
I am an African immigrant, and my life and work are shaped by Ubuntu — the belief that our humanity is bound up in one another. Before opening Clarity Connection Therapy, I spent over a decade walking alongside people in some of life's hardest places: children and families in the child welfare system, people experiencing homelessness, veterans carrying the weight of service, and individuals navigating the justice system. That journey taught me something I bring into every session — people are never their worst moment, and healing begins when someone finally feels seen, safe, and understood.
“I am because you are” means I am connected to you and care for you for the success of our existence.
In our work together, you won't find judgment — you'll find a warm, collaborative space where your culture, identity, and story are honored. I believe that to connect with others, we must first connect with ourselves, and therapy is where that inner connection begins. Drawing on neuroscience and evidence-based approaches like EMDR, IFS, somatic, and attachment work, we'll move at your pace to heal what hurts and build the coping strategies that bring you relief — together, the Ubuntu way.
